Fun facts:
I spent a season working as a “lifty” (ski lift operator) at Nakiska Ski Hill, where I learned how to snowboard!
I grew up in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., and have my advanced Scuba certification.
I love hiking, running, backpacking, and I play on a Juan de Fuca women’s soccer team! :)
I am a communications professional interested in community-centered storytelling and breaking down complex information into accessible resources. In my work, I create mutual understanding across organizations, municipalities, governments, businesses, and the public to inspire positive community change and empowerment.

As a 2026 graduate of the Bachelor of Professional Communication program at Royal Roads University, I am skilled in research, audience-specific writing, and crafting both strategic and crisis communications plans.

Additionally, my diploma in New Media Production and Design from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) taught me high-level technical skills. The hands-on entrepreneurial and technical skills that I learned at SAIT led to my graphic design career.

Working as a graphic designer for an outdoor magazine publication and later for a museum has given me a unique perspective, approaching communications through a creative community-focused lens.

Throughout my academic journey, my experience in hospitality and client-facing roles has given me the ability to speak to a wide range of audiences. I make decisions based on listening, understanding, and thoughtful consideration of all parties involved.
